I have been busy creating but not blogging, so this morning I got out my camera and started photoing my layouts. With no sunny days ahead here in Perth I had to make the most of the morning sun.
This layout is for the Prima BAP. I have rotated it and then flipped it to suit. I have used the Paper Stories Love of a Lifetime kit which is full of Engraver and Lifetime papers. I have added some extra Prima products like the lightbulb and birds.
I have been experimenting lately with Luminartes H2O's and I am loving the watercolours. A warning to you that the next few layouts I post will be full of more watercolour backgrounds!
I love the clear pebbles with Helmars 450 used to glue them down and it has created air bubbles underneath.
A more traditional flower clusters but with a mixed media twist.
quickly popping in to share my layout for the Sketchbook 365 sketch. The sketch did throw me and yes I have added my touches but the base is still there - i promise!
I have used Teresa Collins papers to create this layout of my husband. It's not the best pic of him but they are so hard to get. I normally just get a blank look and here he is at Yallingup Beach relaxing with a beer.
I have used the most awesome watercolours - Luminarte H2O's. They provide shimmer with a highly pigmented watercolour. Must get my hands on more of these!
And to see my winning entry you can visit my blog post right here.
Okay so I am actually here to share my April layout for the Paper Stories sketch. Once again another great sketch from Em @ PageDrafts.
I have used the Paper Stories Love of a Lifetime kit. This is layout #3 from this kit. I am in love with all the Prima and endless possibilities. I have done a step x step on creating this layout but keep an eye out on the Paper Stories blog for it as it won't go live just yet.
Hello!!! and good morning. Its a cold one here in WA, got my dressing gown on to keep me warm!
I had my sisters baby shower on Saturday which is why I have been so quiet on my blog lately. I will share some pics soon of what I created for her Baby Shower. It was a lovely afternoon and we all had a great time!
Times running out so thought I'd better post my layout for the Glitz/Gossamer Blue GD contest. There are soooo many inspirational layouts that have been entered! head on over to their FB pages and have a look.
I created my page with Glitz Unchartered Waters collection. LOVE the colours and all the cute little elements! I have added my usual touches with mists/layering etc.
I really can not believe it... it's March already! where has the first two months of 20-13 gone?
On Saturday I attended Finnabairs classes here in Perth and WOW she blew my mind. Such a talented lady! So glad to have been able to learn some of her techniques!
March is jammed pack full for me. Saturday I'm teaching a class at Made With Memories. It's a cute little Owl canvas and would suit a little girls room check out the details here. I have my sisters baby shower which I have been making lots of cute things for. And then at the end of the month we are off for the Easter Long Weekend which should be lovely and relaxing!
So as it is March, that means a new sketch challenge over at Paper Stories. Em at Page Drafts has created another great sketch for you to work with.
Here is my take on it.... using Crate Paper Maggie Holmes range
Sunshine on a Cloudy Day
